When starting a business it is crucial to make sure all the elements in your business are aligned with the vision you want.  Learning and growing is something I will always try to do as a business owner. I want to be able to make necessary adjustments when it’s needed and be prepared. I recently have been reading about photography and I realized a changed needed to be made.

During my research and “googling” I noticed my website and other social media sites like Facebook were a little difficult to find.  One of the major aspects of any successful business is Marketing! As a future client looking for a photographer, what do you normally type in the search engine?  I’m sure you thought of a few right away. So I tested it my theory and sure enough I typed in Photography, Photographer in Miami, Child Photography, Portrait Photography, Wedding Photographer, etc…you get my point lol! 

How many times do you type in Photos??? Hardly ever. 

Having my business name starting with Photos was not giving me the most SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I realized a change needed to be made.  So after much research I have decided to change my business name to Elizabeth Garay Photography.  Its my name and to the point! I am very excited and feel confident in my decision.

With this change I have finally had my logo professionally done and I couldn’t be happier! Sometimes in business you have to make smart but difficult decision. I want to be reached, searched and found by any potential client!
